But, I'm wondering if local NB hosting is preferable, since I want to 
post the raw, huge video files, so others can download and edit them.

Video playback is not needed at this stage. The upload time would take 
forever, to archive.org, on my slow connection.

We would use archive.org, youtube, etc to host the final edited files

Thoughts?
