[Noisebridge-discuss] ?How not to crash at noisebridge

Ronald,

Have you actually read the lease? It doesn't actually mention sleeping per
se.

It is against the lease to violate city ordinances. There is a ordinance
against using the space (or any commercial property, except hotels) as a
residence, and there is also an ordinance regarding using it as a hotel,
without licensing and meeting certain requirements. Noisebridge space is
leased with the intention of using it as a hacker space.

The NB community has decided that it is un-excellent to sleep overnight in
the space. That is separate from the lease requirements. Please don't
confuse the two.

More importantly, I don't think Christoph intended to crash inside the
space, only to ask the community for assistance in finding accommodation
while attending Maker Faire.

Cheers!
John
