[Noisebridge-discuss] Lost PLA casting

Heya, noisebridge :)

For the Noisebridge indiegogo campaign, we're supposed to be making a big
bundle of noisebridge keys on the CNC mill.

To make sure its an easily repeatable task, I'm producing a lost PLA mold for
a jig that will hold keys in a uniform position on the mill.

I'm looking for a small furnace for PLA burning and aluminum melting if
someone might have one pre-built and available for me to use sometime next
weekend, along with a ladle and heat protection. I'm creating the plaster
molds myself this weekend from some models I printed earlier today.

Here's a quick picture of the prototype with a previously milled key:

The next iteration will include registration marks for mill alignment, tweaks
to to counteract dimensional changes due to thermal expansion/contraction in
the final casting, a vapor bath, and other bug fixes.
