Agreed, I think that getting into compliance as a large kitchen would be
a ton of work to support a function that is at odds with the point and
the spirit of Noisebridge.

I want a place to make an occasional coffee and maybe reheat some
leftovers, wash my coffee mug, and fill my water bottle with delicious
Hetch Hetchy water.  More than that I don't see the point.

Standard seems reasonable (and I like double bowl kitchen sinks, but
whatever).  If I were dictator I'd love to see a custom countertop cast
out of concrete or fabbed out of steel or made of epoxied lumber, but
I'm not going to do that work so I don't get to make demands. :)
