[Noisebridge-discuss] modern sexism

Everyone had their differences. I tried sharing mine, and apparently that
would make me dangerous. I have had my fair share of mental abuse for the
past month, and I try really hard to hold myself together.

Where is the cosmopolitanism? I left Arizona for a reason. All I have found
here was nothing. I am hoping that will turn around, because everyone feels
like this at one time or another. It's the process of growing.

But, I came to this community to try and learn things, and people decided
to scope every aspect of my life. Really not knowing what had even
happened, or how it came to be. As such is the consequences of labels--but
exclusionary frameworks exist because we don't understand this complexity.
As a result, we don't understand each other, and some are forced into
isolation for the mere reason that there is no reasonable conclusion.

And still, no one can fully understand each other. But, I trust that Tom
had a reason for the group, to make it more inclusive of a categorical that
generally does not find interest in such a group, as that categorical may
have been pressured away from accepting these kinds of ideas.  Or people
who originally held such beliefs, but became disenchanted from them because
of such things.

And now, people have met each other, and they pair up. I had dreams too, I
wanted to be part of a community too, I wanted to feel accepted. But, you
all assigned me a passcode from the first day and I ignored it. You all
issued judgements on me and I ignored it. I kept coming back because I had
a goal, but got caught up in a web of these separations.

And now the papers have been found, by my neighbor. The ones I never talked
about. Or, the history I never thought I could trust anyone with. I was
told to "get over it," and I tried my hardest despite my issues to. It
still persists to this day, and I am still trying my hardest to get by.

Despite my ability to speak well, despite my ability to understand, I was
still ignorant as to what was going on. I was so ignorant when people came
to me. I never felt comfortable talking about any of this.

But, I guess it is all in my genetics too, right? It keeps happening to me,
right?

But, I'm still trying.
