[Noisebridge-discuss] front page translation to spanish

Is that really a good use of time?

If you have a separate Spanish front page, what happens if someone edits the English one? Then you have out-of-date information.

That, or you’re asking for someone to translate all of their edits.

I think a better approach would be to make sure the copy on the pages you’re interested in internationalizing still read well when sent through an online translator. Unless you have some sort of deep-seated resentment against Google’s free services, I don’t see why Google Translate is such a bad idea for a page with non-colloquial English phrasing.
