The accounts on jacobappelbaum.net are sufficient and I believe their
veracity.

As I said on Twitter, it's sad that Jill's first-person account is used
to cast doubt on others' first-person accounts.  I believe victims and
survivors when they tell their own stories.

Telling others' stories is an enterprise fraught with peril, as this
week's "journalism" has shown.

Calling someone's story into question by saying "he was always nice to
me" or "I can't believe he would do that" or "I've known him for a long
time" is entirely missing the point.
