[Rack] request for an rj45 connection to a NB LAN

   we made progress, and thanks! at this point we 
can get packets out to ip addresses but not to 
domain names (dns resolution has us foiled for 
now--maybe if we know of a dns server ip address 
or two that the NB LAN uses, that will be all we 
need?).
