that's great that minotaur will be back up soon!

what will happen to the old motherboard?  i want it.

it is not necessary to get a PCI card for serial ports.  I have plenty of 
USB to RS232 adaptors for the various routers, and if the system has two 
native ports that's enough for the two keypads so we should be good.

There is a USB to RS232 adaptor present which goes to a cat5 cable which 
goes to the RFID reader by the door.  Please plug it into the new computer 
so we can continue to try to get the RFID reader to work properly. 
Someone is actually working on it this week!

if we get RFID to work, we can put a tag on every tool at noisebridge!
