working on it... minotaur is having problems right now.  it doesn't answer 
ssh but ping seems fine.  earlier today it was down so bad that it held 
the door-open solenoid on for a long time, and the lock started smoking!

and at the same time, local "internet" didn't work because DHCP gives 
minotaur as DNS, and minotaur wasn't doing a good job.

what's wrong with minotaur?

jjuran noticed in the syslog that bikeshed is sending it messages but the 
timestamp appears as UTC and have not been converted to local time.  He 
thinks that has nothing to do with anything.

when he plugged in a keyboard to the console, he said it came up right 
away.  but when i logged in, it said uptime was 2 minutes, so apparently 
it rebooted when he was plugging in the keyboard.  of course i can ssh in 
now.

so, something is crashing minotaur.  let's figure out what.
