So, so, so, so awesome!

Thanks for all your help and gear this afternoon, Ben. I had a fun time.


I think making the keypads run on Ethernet Arduinos is the best way to
do this. We have two Etherten boards (Jake has one I was poking at,
and it sounds like Ben has another).
We're stretching the maximum lengths for RS232 (though it seems to
just work just fine at low bauds), but we're at a good distance for
10/100 Ethernet.
Ethernet/IP also has the advantage of being really easy to address
from software.

It's also going to be increasingly easier to scrounge Ethernet gear
than Serial stuff.
