Thanks for the update.  It looks like the Mode-S Atom at 172.30.0.53 
came back to life, but the receiver that's on the roof (powered with 
POE) at 172.30.0.52 did not come back.  Despite the numerical 
similarity, they are physically far from each other.  I believe the 
receiver is plugged into a wall-wart over near the ladder that goes to 
the roof.

During the changes that you made, is it possible that it got unplugged 
or in some other way disconnected from the network?
