I think it's mostly done, however don't post this elsewhere just yet.
Please take a look at let me know if anything is broken (other than post
content). Notable changes are...
* Doesn't look like Monobook
* Doesn't feel like Monobook
* Isn't as confusing as Monobook
* Not fugly Monobook
* There's a guest submission link at the top, people can submit posts
(in a pending state) without the need for a user account
* Responsive design, works on clients with small view ports, like mobile
pocket devices
I got rid of all syndication RSS slurping and reposting, as no one was
using it. Also I got rid of anything else that isn't just posts, it's
already too confusing having a main wiki and a side blog, didn't make
sense to use the blog to host any extra shit. Also thinking of adding a
side bar widget that's just the Twitter feed, will figure that out once
someone gets back to me with the Twitter credentials.
Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone is bad ass enough to setup some sort of
"Latest Posts" plugin into the Mediawiki instance? The thing I envision
is simply a new information box at the top of the wiki main page that
says "Noisebridge Blog - Latest Posts:" and the subject headers and
dates from the last three posts, with links back to the blog. We could
also just do this by hand, but it would be a pain.
Also the blog desperately needs new posts.
