I'm not going to wear a hat or accessory or any other symbol of
authority. Sitting at the front desk is plenty symbolic already.

It (buying shirts) was run by a bunch of people, at both a rebase
meeting and a general meeting, if i remember correctly. Several people
encouraged Shannon to order red shirts and several others said red
shirts were silly and/or a bad idea. I have no objection to docents
wearing red shirts, as long as there aren't objections to docents *not*
wearing red shirts. :)
