First of all, I want to say that I look forward to hearing from all of you
soon on how your launches are going. I hope you've enjoyed yourselves so
far, and as always, feel free to send me any questions you might have.
I've been contacted by a show for the G4 network, shooting in LA, and
they're looking for someone to advise then on an upcoming segment on
near-space balloon launches. If you are in or around the LA area, will be
available in the next few weeks, and would like to be an adviser for their
launch (there's some pay involved as well, from what I'm told), please free
to contact Chuck Cason at heychuck1 at gmail.com.
"I'm a producer for a new show on the G4 network. It's a science show and
our experiments cover a great deal of ground. One of the segments we have
planned is a near space balloon launch.
I have quite a few questions about Hackerspaces in Space and the challenge
you have on the website. My main purpose in writing however, is to find a
technical adviser for our show on this segment or a lead on someone that
might be able to fill that role for us.
If you could find the time to call me on my cell phone number (below), I
would appreciate it. Even if you can't be available to help and don't know
anyone that can, I would still look forward to a brief conversation.
If you prefer, return this email with a contact number and the best time to
reach you and I will call you.
We will be shooting in the Los Angeles area."
