[Tastebridge] Mushroom stuff

It has been an honor to help you guys with the mushrooms.  Seriously you are all so smart and motivated, that it makes it a pleasure.  A lot of folks I've spoken with about mushroom cultivation seem to have "getting high" as the impetus of their curiosity.  That mindset reminds me of those who think sex is the only thing that matters in love.  Of course sex and getting high are great experiences; I try to enjoy both as regularly as I can.  And I even think hallucinogenic mushrooms can facilitate tremendous spiritual growth given the right set and setting, but for all the wonder and beauty of that aspect of mushrooms, such a myopic view of mushroom cultivation is limited in opinion considering the plethora of edibles and medicinal mushrooms just waiting for someone to cultivate, most which have seldom or never successfully been!

Anyway, even if I cannot make trips to the Noisebridge every week, I expect I'll learn a huge amount from you all in the coming years if the mushroom chamber stays around.  I already learned something amazing about coffee grounds and oyster mushrooms: basically, that they are a great substrate!  And I bet we'll all learn more about the bioluminescent Stipticus as I bring you guys a couple bags to work with.  

Speaking of which, I have one bag that has just KILLER colonization right now!  Although it's not quite done yet, the bag is glowing relatively brightly given it's not even in the fruiting stage yet (it's the bag I sent an attachment picture of before Christmas).  I'm anxious to bring that bag by the Noisebridge.  I might do so tomorrow if I can get up there on my way out to east bay for a family thing.

Thank you Roger for all your knowledge, help and supplies! And I agree, we
should skype or put meetings on ustream, I will look around space for
laptops, cams that could work. If I can't find anything maybe someone can 
bring their computer for this.

Some bad news: Our temperature & humidity sensor is having trouble. Jake
took it and thinks it is damaged and possibly corroded, we will see if
anything can be done to clean or repair it --- but if that's not possible
we may have to buy a replacement.  The SHT15 is $30-$40, there are lower
cost alternatives but they might not be quite as accurate.
