Hi Lewis,
Sounds really nice! I have found out that building the box is expensive and time intensive but I'm learning a lot by doing that. However having a fridge which you can convert it is great source. If you could keep an eye on the Tastebridge discuss list that would be great because that would be at least for now the official platform to discuss the project. and I need to do some serious upgrades but  after the maker faire (first maker faire in Korea 2-3/6/2012) I will take care about that.

Please stay in touch and I'm really curious about your project because the electronic part is next! This is a long term open source project, the major goal is to develop incubator which you can build at home, get in a kit and also buy as a final product, so we are talking about several years of work. I'm talking about this for two years or so but now I got funded and I think that here in Korea lots of things can progress quite fast. I will be in USA for the summer (HOPE and ToorCamp) so  I can meet you when I'm around Noisebridge.

hey, id like to subscribe to your progress. I built an incubator using a crockpot, Arduino, temperature sensor, relay, and a mini fridge. I use it for tempeh and yogurt, hopefully for mushrooms soon. best of luck with your project-what will you be incubating?
