[Tiny-tux] Another SD card question

Tried several different ways to back up USB drives and SD cards, and
far and away the winner is squashfs, which

-- compresses on the fly;
-- encrypts if you want it to;
-- has regexp-based excludes;
-- slices and dices (okay, not really);
AND
-- *recoverably* writes to just about any USB drive or SDcard, even
ones you thought were borked forever!

Yes, take those apparently bricked NAND storage devices out of the
trashcan, and try writing to them with squashfs.    It's tied with
parcellite and xournal for my favorite new tools of 2011 so far.
