I'm strongly in favor of doing the floor; the whole thing if possible,
but at the very least the areas where we'll be cleaning up from food,
electronics, and shop work.

I don't have an informed opinion as to what product we'd want to use but
my inclination is towards a clear treatment rather than a pigmented
paint or a linoleum-style covering. It might make sense to do a
plastic-tile or linoleum or carpet square treatment around the sinks;
we'll probably be putting in floor mats in those areas anyways, so
something that cleans up easily under them would be helpful.

I've never worked with pickup labor (I'm assuming you mean the guys who
hang out on Cesar Chavez) but I've heard decent things about it. If it
doesn't cost us too too much I think we should go for it.

Jim, are you willing to work up a WAG at a budget for the floor project?
I can advocate and present it at the meeting, but I don't know what'll
be required.

Yesterday I stopped in the paint store three doors north of 2169 to have
some keys cut. It looked like he had polyurethane in 5-gallon buckets
but I didn't know which product we'd want, nor what a reasonable price
would be.
