[Digitalarchivists] First Book Scanner's Enter Button Gone

I remember there was an enter button (connected to the computer via USB)
taped to the first book scanner's lever, but when I came in to scan some of
my books, I noticed it's gone. It made scanning a lot more convenient. Does
anyone know what happened to it?
