[Digitalarchivists] [sudo-discuss] I want to establish a book scanner at Sudo room or in Oakland

i think storing all the pages at monochrome images is ideal, and you can embed
OCR of the text invisibly behind the scanned text so that it's searchable.

but ultimately i think it's best to make several formats available, like epub,
text, rtf, etc. maybe even html.
