This week: we'll have an ~8PM talk introducing Rhino3D and the new
FreeCAD working group during the weekly Replicator Wednesday.

Please arrive earlier if you are interested in printing with the
Noisebridge machines. For Regular Replicator Wednesday, pleaes arrive
around 6:00PM with a laptop, and plan on learning the ins and outs of
the command and control software that we use. Also, be forewarned that
our machines need a lot of love!

ps.
I've been workings with the DraftMaster I plotter at Noisebridge. It
runs well, uses HPGL langauge, and plots at amazing rates of up to
about 60-100 cm/sec. I talk to it with a USB-serial bridge (prolific
pl2303 based), a null modem adapter, and a DB9-DB25 cable. It's a
great tool to use for plotting circuit schematics, mechanical designs,
and large line drawings.

I use a hacksaw to cut down cheap ball point pens and fit them into a
holder for the pen carousel. Is anyone else interested in modelling
the pen holder in a CAD package so we can print more of this unique
but simple part on some replicating printers? Also, if anyone has some
proper HP plotter pens (felt, roller, etc. any type), bring them by to
test it with!
