[Noisebridge-discuss] McMaster bulk order

I'm going to place an order with McMaster-Carr to jumpstart the machine
hardware portion of our parts library.  My thinking is

 * we should be metric, not imperial.
 * buying in bulk is cheaper.
 * better to have a good assortment to start with rather than have
   projects stymied by missing parts.  (RepRap got stuck last night
   because I couldn't find a small screw+nut to hold a heatsink on.)
