skip down to the section after lacing (tensioning and truing) since you
already have a wheel.
as a first pass, don't sweat getting the tension spot on, but don't
allow a huge difference if you can help it. your wheel will be weaker,
but it will probably not make much of a difference.
if your wheel is too fucked up (taco-ed in the parlance) you're going to
have to get a new one.
