Folks,

who has experience with multiple external monitors attached to a laptop/MacBook?

My one external monitor does not add sufficient screen real estate to
my MacBook (not MacBook Pro). Apple Geniuses are hopeless in
providing useful info on how this can be done with Mac hardware, so
I've also been looking also at third party solutions:

http://www.amazon.com/Matrox-T2G-D3D-IF-Triplehead2Go-Dual-Link-Digital/dp/B000RMQZ96/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1258416219&sr=1-1
and

I want to avoid having to reboot/target disk mode/do other setup that
couldn't be done within 20 seconds. Frame rate isn't critical, and
ideally adding a notebook cooling solution would not be necessary. I
don't want to switch to a desktop because all my data and application
state is on my laptop, plus a desktop would mean another biggish
expense. The goal is to maximize screen real estate for
coding/browsing etc. when I am at home. Right now a TripleHead2Go or
three EVGA modules with three external 24" (<$200 each) monitors seem
attractive.

What solutions are you guys using?

Thanks,
Andy
