[Noisebridge-discuss] EVENT: Baconfest at American Steel on Saturday

Back for it's 6th straight year in the Bay, Baconfest is set to be the
porcine event of the season.  Baconfest was started in 2004 by two
members of Flaming Lotus Girls and is now organized by the inimitable
Otto Von Danger, builder of the tall wooden sculpture featured in the
eponymous art festival.  It is being held on Saturday October 10,
4pm-midnight at American Steel, the largest indoor art production
facility in the country, at 1960 Mandela Parkway in Oakland.
Admission is $5 if you bring a bacon dish, $20 without, flexible if
you're DPW or poor.  No one bringing bacon will be turned away for
lack of funds.  This event is a fundraiser for the New Zealand Kiwi
Burn where Mr Von Danger plans to build a 40' wooden Maori this
winter.
