[Noisebridge-discuss] Is there interest in an SMD practice electronics kit?

I have been in great fear of doing surface mount stuff. Plenty of folks
have tried telling me that it is not as bad as it would seem at first.
However, I know at some point I am going to have to do it.

So if there is a fun kit and maybe some guidance around to help me get
over my fears I would definitely be up for it!

If this could turn into a short, focused class about SMD techniques,
tips, and tricks it would be even more awesome.
