[Noisebridge-discuss] Flooring work! Next step sanding, do half an hour, it's easy!

Sanding is SO EASY and even kind of fun! Quirk and David and I did
maybe 70 or 80 sq ft just this evening. Anyone can now take half an
hour, or even ten minutes, sand 10 or 20 square feet, and make a serious
contribution. Just use the orbital sander to smooth down any blobs or
rough edges from the putty, no need to sand it all off - see what's been
done for an example.

All the equipment is back on the floor. Parts that have been done are
marked off with blue tape -- patches that are still drying are also
marked with blue tape but you can clearly tell the difference. Tear up
some of the tape, sand some contiguous piece of floor, and re-tape
around what you did so the next person doesn't duplicate your effort.

If you want, check some of the re-patched bits and see if they're dry;
if so, tear up that blue tape and sand them.

When you're done, empty the sander's vaccuum bag and do a quick run with
the big vaccuum.  That's it!

The whole section of floor is a little over 350 sq ft. We did maybe a
fifth of it. If another ten people each do just 30 sq feet, it will be
done in no time. Thanks in advance.
