just checking here.  I would not have thought I was the only Yuri's Night
Security/Gate staffer on this list.  I thought you people
had a million ties to the YN folks.  For example I know people who Jake
knows who are involved in Yuri's Night.  You don't have a scam worked
already?  What kind of hackers are you?

If you're a Noisebridge hacker and you are into high tech stuff and you
haven't been inside Ames before, you should go.  If it's like last time,
it's held in a hangar at the edge of the airfield.  You don't go into the
NASA part of the facility.  But do your homework.  You park next to Hangar
One, where they parked airships in the 30's.  You drive in past the largest
wind tunnel on the west coast.
(yeah, they test jet fighters they.  they also test mars lander parachutes.
our mars probes work and the european''s don't because we have badass
martian lander parachutes because they were tested at Ames...)  And it's
part of NASA, our badly designed Soviet-era space agency that might not be
there in 5 years.
