[Noisebridge-discuss] Burner Volunteer Sought for 8/14

Hi all,
 
We're hacking the ghetto. Burning Man has given us a small grant* to teach artcar/artbike construction to at-risk youths in Bayview Hunters Point. It's called The Bayview BOOM. The BOOM will culminate in a community art-vehicle parade in October 2011, in Bayview Hunters Point.

Here's the volunteer thing: 
 
This Sunday, 8/14, Prepare for the Playa is hosting an arts fair, and we are seeking a volunteer to help us table. That means you chat up sexy Burners, while they gaze at our display of artcars and artbikes, and then you ask them to sign our volunteer list. You'll also setup and/or breakdown our table. This won't get you into Burning Man, but it may get you into heaven.

Slots are 11:30 am to 4pm, and 3pm to 7:30pm. Person with vehicle preferred, to transport our table.
