[Noisebridge-discuss] lockers for noisebridge - big enough? funding?

if u look in the mailinglist archives, this thread originated with a different name a month ago. i was told by mitch and others to just do-ocracy this. no consensus item was ever raised.

the issue more than anything is that we are already out of shelf space. so new people to noisebridge are automatically deprived of a benefit. some people are marking an entire 4-foot wide shelf as their space whether they need that much room or not. a blocked off and close-able space will hopefully result in people being more conscious of the space they use. lockers also have the benefits of privacy and bring-your-own-lock security.

finally, lockers will definately not be big enough for people with large projects. al had mentioned some larger lockers. that or another solution is something to consider later on.

If people do not want to have lockers at NB, how about they say so and explain why. It would be too bad if Patrick went to the trouble and expense to do-ocrify some lockers, and other people decided to turn them into giant robots. Speak up now. Tell us what you really think.
