   interesting remarks. 
   it seems you've taken some heat lately. 
   I'm betting part of the reason is something you're 
doing, maybe a style of interaction..., i don't know. 
   whatever the truth of that, i'm very glad to see 
you sticking through it: kudos on that point. 

   i recently had the tho't that one aspect of some 
of the flameups that occur on our mailing list is a 
lack of patience and kindness, possibly for some good 
reason, possibly not. i'm in favor of patience and 
kindness.
