[Noisebridge-discuss] Android question: I want to share, via wifi, my Internet connection. What's the best way to do this?

ATT will sell me this option, but I hear there is a free way to do it, 
turning my wifi card into an access point. I perused the "free" 
applications in the "marketplace" (my god there are many) but I couldn't 
find it there, not that I expected to.

Can I do this without rooting my phone? I do intend to root my phone at 
some point, but it's not pressing and I don't really have the time right 
now.

Where does one go for this stuff?
What do you use?
Are you happy with it?
