Yo!

I've been able to get some very good prices at TAP by talking about my
application, and getting their advice. When they quote you a price, I've
frequently asked if there is a cheaper option, and its not uncommon that the
price can drop by about 15% on the spot...particularly if you are buying a
full sheet that they don't need to cut.

1/4" is pretty serious stuff in terms of weight and thickness BTW. Another
easy way to save some cash would probably be to cut it back to 1/8" thick.
