[Noisebridge-discuss] Money @ NB

There is a huge difference between what Noisebridge does as an entity
(hardly anything but rent the space and pay for utilities), and what
individuals or other entities do within the space Noisebridge rents and
manages (everything else). The non-profit, public charity restrictions
only apply to Noisebridge the entity, not to others' activities within it.

Noisebridge the entity really only requires that others' activities
within it are not illegal or against the lease. The community in
general decides what its guidelines are for other activities within the
space. We have so far codified this as "Be excellent to each other"
with some few specifics on what excellence means, such as not using the
space as your personal home.

IOW, Mitch, Ever Falling, me, or anyone else is permitted by Noisebridge
to engage in any legal commerce we want. If someone in the community
feels this commerce, or anything else, is unexcellent, the usual
suggestions of talk-to-the-person or bring-it-up-at-a-meeting apply.
