[Noisebridge-discuss] Sudoroom welcomes Noisebridge to their new Oakland location!

Well like I said, there may be people who get fooled, but they're really
people who should know better but decided not to investigate before going
well out of their way. We shouldn't let the few people that can't
understand a genuinely light-hearted joke on the one day of the year where
everybody knows people might be playing practical jokes get in the way of
other people being able to enjoy themselves. I enjoy april fools day
because it's one freaking day where the smart people get to pretend to be
dumb. You say there's idiots all year long, but the whole fun of april
fools is when the *smart* people get in on acting stupid. :)

Also I had no idea the audio wasn't hooked up on the payphone - at least I
thought maybe the mic was hooked up to a one way intercom perhaps. All I
know is that when I mash some keys on it and possibly talk into a camera or
something, I'm not really sure what it's like on the other end but usually
someone will open the door pretty quickly. I'm aware there's a code but I
don't have it (which is fine). So I wouldn't fault people for not knowing
that. How are we supposed to know what the mad hackers did with the phone
system? For all I know it has a rasberry pi hooked up to it running a PBX
and it calls any random number in the world when you pick it up (note: it
should do this when you enter an invalid code...).
