Or, you jellospines could KICK THEM OUT, and not cut off your noses to
spite your face, oh my god! Haven't you had enough comedically avoidant
situations without this becoming another punchline?
Tell them Noisebridge is not an all purpose community space. Tell them they
are a crowd of leeches, but without the historical woo-medical benefits. Be
prepare for them to delay and string you along with bullshit promises to do
better, making it awkward to say no. Tell them to fuck off and try their
participatory approach in 6 months.
They've been punted out of far more assertive, self aware spaces than
Noisebridge - this sort of group is well armed with delay and deflect
skills. Easier to as forgiveness than permission? Ha, they don't even have
to ask forgiveness from you, suckers.
(when I come back from New York City, I'm gonna bring a whole bunch more
attitude and make even fewer friends, wow...)

it would be a shame to pull it out. Maybe for a month or two the stove
could be disconnected and the lightweight kitchen items be removed, and
only returned if the entire space can be stabilized.

professionally regularly cleaned, then maybe it would better serve people
who are "hackers" (an impossible distinction to make). It's one thing for
well-meaning people to use the kitchen and go back to doing what they were
doing, it's another to get them to reliably clean it when done.

I don't see why Noisebridge continues to have a full kitchen with stove.
(Actually, yes I do. Because consensus prevents any attempt to remove or
regulate it.

themselves to fuel their all day hacking rather than spending cash on
prepared meals? usually when i go, it's hackers using the kitchen, when
taking a needed break from their projects. why so eager to take away
people's say in the space, anyway?
