Hi to all,
We have managed with help from many and with support of the orga to build up the hexayurt based cold room. 

We are still improving the project. Today it has been really sunny and we used the cold room a lot and it went "gaga" - very warm. We have found out that we got a major build up of ice in the device. We hope that we took care about that and in addition with our improvement of the floor (we added a thin insulation layer on the wooden chip board, with a "green carpet" on it) we will do better tomorrow. We also bought a weather station - temperature measurement outside and inside, plus moisture (did not have time to hack it) so if we install it tomorrow we will have more data for you. We definitely want to update the documentation (probably after the event) plus blog. By the end of the camp we should have quite a decent experience allowing us to build up another, better one on the next events which would be fully functional.

URGENT! Does anyone know place where we can refill the air conditioning unit with cooling gas? It has to be done by professional, we can bring it but around here (camp ground) all companies are busy. We are fine to drive up to 40 or 50 min, and I have been told that the car rearing shops may have this service too. If you know anyone who would be willing to to this that would be amazing because it is really important!

We will be continuing tomorrow after the breakfast around 9-10 am, also building our workshop room.

Just shortly, we are starting the build up of the cold room project today (Monday 29/7) between 9-10 am Food Hacking Base village - N2. Anyone interested please come and join, document, tweet etc! We serve food and beverages to the helpers.

Hi to all,
We have got double aluminium coated insulation pannels +- 200x120x10, R=4.4, 19 of them.

We bought the air-con - separate unit 12000 BTU, has to be soldered (cupper) + cooling gas has to be bought.

Tomorrow (27/7 Saturday) at 4 pm a meeting will be hold at Food Hacking Base (N2) tent for the coordination of the Cold Room project build up. Samual took up the lead for now on this one, so please coordinate with him, I will help him out as much as I can as will the others I'm sure. The wiki about cold room project is here
