[Noisebridge-discuss] Possible move to bay area.

Entertaining, since I've been living in San Francisco and working in
Mountain View for the past 3.5 years, and am currently moving to New York.

Much hangs on whether your Mountain View employer has a shuttle service to
SF or not. Since you didn't mention it, I'm going to assume not, at which
point my ability to be helpful pretty much ends (since mine does).

What I can tell you is that even with the shuttle, I wound up keeping a
bedroom in Mountain View as well as a place in the city, simply because the
commute is a bear to deal with if you regularly work late but also have
occasional morning meetings. But you really don't want to *only* live down
there, since pretty much everything that matters happens in the city.

Also, you have decent biking weather here probably 300-odd days of the year,
so being within a bike ride of your transport options is usually good
enough.
